Details about the Destination

Andharban Trek, by it’s name means a dark dense forest. It is a descend trek, where you are already on height and you will descending till end. It is one of the most beautiful trek and lots of things to explore. Colorful Wild flowers add on the verdant landscape. This is one of the greatest treks in our area. Evergreen forest covers you with shade in first half of the trek. While on the route we can see the beauty of places like Ghangad, Tailbaila, Sarasgad, Plus valley, Tamhini ghat, Kundalika valley The trek concludes at yet another dam called the Bhira dam which is also the source of the Kundalika river which is famous for its White Water Rafting.30% of the trek is all descend and remaining is normal walking

Day 1

• Reach at Pimpri village and rest in the bus
• 04:30 pm : Reach Base village, freshen up, gear up for the trek
• 05:30 pm : Have Breakfast, Tea
• 06:00 am : Introduction round and brief on rules and regulations to be followed by everyone on the event
• 06:30 am : Gear up for the trek as per the instructions
• 02:00 pm : Finish the trail and reach Base Village
• 03:00 pm : Have tummy tight lunch and rest for a while
• 04:00 pm : Leave for Mumbai
• 08:00 pm : Approx arrival at Mumbai

Bus Timings:

We’ll be boarding non-A/C bus from our nearest pickup point. Bus timings are shared below for convenience::

• 10:00 pm Borivali national park main gate
• 10:20 pm Andheri Hanuman Nagar Bus stop
• 10:50 pm Sion lunch home hotel
• 11:15 pm Diamond garden, Chembur
• 11:30 pm Vashi Plaza
• 11:50 pm Kalamboli Mc D, near panvel

Meeting Point : Borivali National Park main gate 10:00 pm

Mandatory:

• Identity proof
• 2 Ltrs of water
• Electoral powder, 2 lemons, ready to eat items(Protein bars, chikki etc.)
• Torch with extra batteries, pocket knife
• Personal medicines
• Hand Sanitizer, Mask
• Rain are expected, so pack your bags accordingly to save them from getting wet
• Good trekking shoes preferably ‘Action’ brand - Trekking Shoes
• Haversack/backpack to carry all things.

Optional

• Cap, Camera
• Spare floaters, slippers, or light canvas shoes
• Windcheater, scarves, jackets, extra pair ofsocks and clothes
• Avoid wearing Gold and other jewellery

• Transfer Rs.1400/- per person. Payment once done is non-refundable, do check for availability before making a payment.

• The path can be slippery due to monsoons. So, proper precautions should be taken during the visit
• Carry enough water with you and do not resort to any other water source without any assistance

• Floaters and sandals are not allowed
• Do not carry purse, side sling bags not allowed
• Eco-Tourism etiquettes to be followed. Trek is in the Eco / culturally -sensitive area
• Do not litter the place as it is in great need of being maintained and adopted
• Leader/ Organizer will not be responsible for any accident, mishap or compensation in whatsoever manner
• We should strictly follow the code of conduct, to avoid troubling our fellow trekkers or other people from our group or even locals
• Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited
• Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding
